Rhythm Dialogues is a new platform for creative exchange. Working at the intersection of multiple art forms—dance, music, art, poetry, writing, philosophy, photography, film, design—it seeks to create space for individuals and artists to transcend creative boundaries through open-ended experimentation.
A multi-faceted project, it includes a mobile artist-residency housed in a re-designed 1974 Airstream; annual “Convergences” that bring together some of the most celebrated artists, designers, writers, and thinkers to explore a broad range of topics; and its archival and publishing arm, 11:11 RD Editions.
Through an interdisciplinary approach, Rhythm Dialogues provides space for uncertainty and complexity – inviting exchange, immersion, and charting us towards possible futures.
Rhythm Dialogues Residency
Our form-breaking artist residency program is open to artists working across any creative disciplines–performance, writing, dance, music, film, theatre, interdisciplinary or hybrid forms. This initiative seeks to create space for individuals to transcend creative boundaries through open-ended experimentation.
Housed in a redesigned 1974 Airstream trailer — the residency has the ability to take place anywhere in Canada of the artist's choosing. Guided by the 2026 theme of "Emotional Cartography", Rhythm Dialogues invites artists to respond to the emotional, cultural, and ecological contours of place.
Prioritizing exploration over outcome, the residency does not need to culminate in a specific work or output — instead seeking to create a continuum of artistic resonance.

Convergence
On an annual basis, Rhythm Dialogues hosts a one-day encounter–bringing together individuals from across multiple artforms in active exchange. Spontaneous, instinctual, and continuously unfolding – it is an open invitation to exploration and discovery.

Working across formats and mediums 11:11 RD Editions is the archival and publishing arm of Rhythm Dialogues. It aims to both document and reimagine ways of engaging with art, culture, and our collective social structures.
